Origin PM & EMR 2009 Client Forum

Origin Healthcare Solutions, Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record division will be holding its Annual Client Forum this year in Mystic, CT, on Friday, October 23rd. This forum provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about the practice management and EMR software and services available. Pamela Moore will be the keynote speaker. Other highlights of the conference include training on the newest product, Origin Manager; tips for full service billing clients; and a discussion of compliance information.

For additional information or to register for the conference, email info@originhs.com.

New Additions to the PBI Team

This quarter we welcomed three new additions to the PBI Team.

Lee Morgan joined us in July as a Software Developer. He will be working with the Development Team on the conversion of the admin/ad hoc modules to .NET. Lee comes to us from Westfalia Technologies. He lives in the Mechanicsburg, PA area and is working out of our Wyomissing Office.

Chris Wyman joined PBI as a floating Technical Product Analyst. He will be dedicated to working on object development requests for our Origin Healthcare Solutions partners. Chris has several years experience working with the PBI software. Chris will be working from a home office in Manomet, MA.

Karen Basham joined the PBI team in September as the Consulting Department Manager. She will be managing the Data Warehouse and Technical Product analysts who work on implementation projects and contracted consulting work. Karen has prior experience working with the PBI software. Karen will be working out of a home office in Nellysford, VA.

New Technology Utilized at PBI

The Precision.BI Development Team will be leveraging new technologies in the development of the administrative and ad hoc modules. Silverlight and the Windows Presentation Foundation are frameworks that Microsoft uses to create a rich user experience. These technologies will allow us to more easily convert the functionality now found in version 4 to .NET.
